Busy Bees Kinder Ready Classes
After working with a transitional kindergarten class in the Illawarra, I noticed a demand for a pre-kinder program which focuses on play-based learning - just in smaller time increments so the little ones don't feel overwhelmed!
Mainly incorporating art & crafts into the learning process, children are able to develop social, play, language, emotional, physical, literacy and fine motor skills which are essential before starting kindergarten. Children that start school without these basic skills quickly fall behind and find themselves playing 'catch up' by comparing to other students.

Sensory Processing
Activities that engage various senses, such as touch, sight, sound, and smell, to help children regulate their sensory input and develop sensory integration skills.

Gross motor skills
Occasionally we will meet in a park area and work on running, jumping, balancing and climbing to promote strength, coordination and spatial awareness, laying the foundation for physical development and participation in structured play and sports.

Independent & self-help skills
Encouraging tasks like tidying up after oneself and following simple routines empowers children to take ownership of their actions and develop self-confidence.

Fine motor skills
Cutting, tracing, coloring, and manipulating small objects to enhance hand-eye coordination, pencil grip and overall fine motor control, crucial for tasks like writing and drawing.

Language development
Encourage language acquisition through conversations, storytelling, singing and rhyming activities which fosters vocabulary expansion, comprehension and communication skills essential for success in kindergarten.

Pre-academic skills
Introduce basic concepts in literacy (e.g letter recognition, phonemic awareness) and numeracy (e.g counting, sorting, basic math concepts) through playful and hands-on activities.
